3 things to add to your daily marketing checklist
Big or small, all businesses should maintain a structured, consistent marketing plan that they implement on a regular basis. The execution of this plan is essential in generating brand awareness, as well as maintaining momentum once your brand is well-established.
The good news is, this plan doesn’t need to be complicated! In fact, it can be as simple as maintaining a daily checklist with recurring, bite-sized action items to help drive your business forward. In building out this daily checklist, there are 3 main tasks we recommend including to optimize your marketing efforts:
1. ENGAGE WITH YOUR AUDIENCE
Spend 10 minutes a day on social media engaging with followers and/or relevant accounts. This helps strengthen your relationship with your target audience and gives you a boost in Facebook/Instagram’s algorithm, which will help you increase your reach and visibility.
2. REVIEW YOUR ANALYTICS
Check your website’s analytics (we typically recommend using Google Analytics) to see what kind of traffic you’re driving to your site, and how your audience is interacting with it. Familiarizing yourself with your analytics will help you recognize when you need to make some tweaks to improve engagement. The same can (and should!) be done for your social media insights.
3. DEVELOP AT LEAST 1 PIECE OF CONTENT
Whether it’s a blog, a reel, or a simple Instagram post, make a habit out of creating at least one piece of content each week that will be valuable or interesting to your audience. Good content marketing will help keep your brand top-of-mind, and establish you as a reliable resource and industry leader.
