A3 Performance is a competitive swimwear company, known for its technologically advanced, high-quality tech suits and swim gear. Founded and run by a family rooted in competitive swimming, A3 has become well established within the swim community, with a loyal following of athletes at all levels. With multiple product lines and technologies in its arsenal, A3 recognized its need for a more consistent, coherent approach to its brand strategy, which is when they first partnered with PMC.

Solution

In working with A3’s internal team, we quickly learned the importance of building out a brand that spoke not only to the technical aspects of its products, but the emotional and physical feelings they evoked, such as confidence, power, and determination. Using the tagline “Unleash Your Unstoppable,” we established brand consistency across all assets, ranging from aesthetics to messaging. Using the seasonal nature of the sport as a rough timeline, we established a thorough brand strategy that would take a targeted approach throughout the year – improving efficiencies and ROI.
